Dufashanye Tcb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more beans and maize to sell.

Dufashanye Tcb Group's story

Marthe is 34 years old, married, and has two children, ages 3 and 6. Her husband is a businessman. For the past six years, she has been selling foodstuffs.

Marthe is the leader of the group named Dufashanye TCB, which means “helping each other” in English. The group sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marthe will use her portion of the loan to buy more beans and maize to sell in her community. With the profit from her sales, she will be able to expand her business and set aside some savings. She is grateful for the support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all of the group members. However, the photo shows one member who is representing the group.
