Olga's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to invest in a bulk purchase of silver, gemstones and chains and to also pay her assistants.

Olga's story

Olga is an artisan from Mexico who specializes in silver jewelry. She will use this loan to invest in the bulk purchase of silver, gemstones and chains as well as to pay her assistants. Olga has been selling her jewelry through NOVICA since 2000.

Olga began designing and crafting silver jewelry, in 1970, after studying fine arts and handicrafts. She continued taking courses throughout Mexico while setting up her own workshop. Since 1972, her jewelry collections have been exhibited in Mexico City, Washington D.C., Venezuela, Canada and Germany, among other countries. Since then, the Mexican designer has come to treasure her unique skills and craft more than ever. She also teaches her art in addition to creating new designs.

"The work pace has not fully resumed since the pandemic began. This resource will allow us to continue producing and supporting those who make a living from having this job."
