A loan helped to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house.

Chantha's story

Chantha, aged 60, lives with her family in the area of Angkor Borei district, Takeo province.

Chantha and her spouse are famers and are strongly supported by their children. This couple works actively in their rice fields, such as plowing the soil evenly at least 2-3 times, weeding and removing harmful plants before transplanting, and providing natural fertilizer to their rice crops.

Because of a shortage in her finances, Chantha has applied for a loan of USD 2,000 to pay for ground filler to cover the mud around her house. With this financial support, she can pay for the ground filling and provide her family members with a good environment and fresh air, protecting them from illness and creating good living conditions. In the future, she aims to renovate her old house and purchase more land for agricultural purposes. She believes that through her hard work and perseverance she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
