Tupendane Rafiki Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to get supplies of oil wholesale to boost her initial capital.

Tupendane Rafiki Group's story

Beata is a customer of IMF Hekima and secretary of the Tuoendane Rafiki village group. She is 42 years old, married and mother to eight children, who are all at school. Her husband is a trader.

She sells a variety of food and began her business with funds given to her by her husband. Later on she joined the Hekima program to support her business, which has gradually been built up.

With this new loan she is going to get supplies of oil wholesale, and this will boost her initial capital. She has not encountered any problems in her business. She would like her children to continue studying and would also like to build a house.

Finally she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support they provide to business owners who do not have access to bank funding in the context of the Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of the group leader only, in order to respect Covid-19 social distancing measures.
