Maposhoane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Maposhoane's story

Maposhoane is a 59-year-old woman who lives with 8 other family members, including 2 children, in a traditional hut, without access to electricity. Maposhoane relies on commercial farming and struggles with buying multiple fuel with insufficient income. She spends the highest amount of her energy expenses on paraffin and wood, which costs up to 50 LSL per month. She also spends as much as 1 hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs, like phone charging.

Maposhoane bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help her and her family save the money spent every month on fuel and also to help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass and solar-powered.
