Epiphanie's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to increase working capital to become the distributor of cooking gas in her community.

Epiphanie's story

Epiphanie is a passionate businesswoman who runs an electronic appliance shop near one of Rwanda's refugee camps. She is married, and her business plays a big role in supporting her family.

Their business started 10 years ago when Epiphanie and her husband opened a grocery store. The business improved over the years and helped them purchase business premises, farmland, rental houses, and their own house. Epiphanie's business has not only helped her send children to school, but also helped in improving the living standards of the people from the camp and the host community by providing them with job opportunities.

After working with AEC, Epiphanie is requesting a loan to increase her working capital, since she was offered the opportunity to be the distributor of cooking gas in her community. This will increase her range of customers as well as her profits. Moreover, she will be able to provide more job opportunities to the people in her community and also be able to keep providing shelter and education to her family.
