Honoria's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional items, such as different colours to paint palm leaves and also to expand her business.

Honoria's story

Honoria is modest, hardworking, 36 years old, and married.

Honoria has amazing skill and experience in weaving East Timor traditional bags, which are called LUHU and are made from young palm leaves with various colours and patterns. She makes a living from this. Her weaving shop, which she has been running for many years now, is well located and easy to find, so that many people come to buy her goods every day.

Running the business has made Honoria become independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family's everyday needs.

She would like a loan of $500 through KIF to help improve her weaving shop. She plans to use this loan to buy additional items, such as different colours to paint palm leaves and also to expand her business.

Honoria hopes to expand the size of her business in the future, and wants to thank lenders for the opportunity.
