Christina Leitamate's story

Christina Leitamate lives in a village which is 8 kilometres out of Port Vila, city of Vanuatu. Her village is one of the largest in Vanuatu, and the main industry there is agriculture. The locals depend a lot on agriculture for food and income, so for one to make income off of it has been quite alright.

Christina Leitamate is 34 years old and is happily married; her husband usually travels to Australia for fruit picking but is currently still in Vanuatu. She has three adorable children aged 13, 10 and 4. She lives with her small family in their own home.

Christina Leitamate has asked for a loan to help her purchase retail goods so that she can stock up her small kitchen shop to better provide for her customers and increase her profits. She wants to make sure she can provide her customers' needs and wants.

With her earned revenue, she will help her husband complete their unfinished home. Christina Leitamate loves cooking as well; in the near future she dreams of opening up her own retail shop and restaurant so that she can sell her products and food in a place where locals and tourists pass by.

This is Christina Leitamate's fifth loan with South Pacific Business Development (Vanuatu) Ltd. She has been devoted to her previous loan repayments. Through her loans, Christina Leitamate feels empowered to expand her business and become a successful entrepreneur.
