A loan helped to buy feed and vaccines for their animals.

San Miguel Group's story

The San Miguel group is in its fourth cycle of the women's committee program. The group was formed thanks to each member's desire for self-betterment. They are looking for ways to grow and improve their quality of life.

One of the members, Elva, makes a living rearing and selling farmyard animals with the help of her husband and children. She is in charge of raising the animals and later making the sale, and she also sells milk which she collects herself. Elva is a hard-working person who fights to give her family all she never had so that they do not want for anything.

Elva and her husband want to provide for their five children so that they can have a better future. She is requesting this loan to buy feed and vaccines for their animals.

Note: Only two people appear in the photo, but this is a group loan. Taking a group photo was not possible due to limitations on gatherings during the COVID-19 pandemic.
