Palo De Lapa Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy 3 quintals of sugar, 3 of rice, 3 drums of oil and household cleaning products for her store.

Palo De Lapa Group's story

Meet the entrepreneurs of Palo de Lapa, a Pro Mujer community association in León, Nicaragua. For 28 loan cycles, they have worked together and have managed their businesses such as clothing sales, pork butchering, grocery stores, sales of tortillas and fried foods.

Lidia De Los Angeles (wears a pink skirt) is the president of the group, and one of its prominent members. She has two children, one with a degree in nursing and the other studying public accounting. Her husband is a farmer and for 17 years he has worked running a grocery store.

Lidia plans to see her business better established. She has seen her own development and she is sure that she will make it through. A new loan will allow her to stock her grocery store and buy 3 quintals of sugar, 3 of rice, 3 drums of oil and household cleaning products.

She is counting on you to boost her progress!
