La Corona Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy prepaid phone cards and mobile phones, and also to plant corn and beans.

La Corona Group's story

Meet the entrepreneurs of La Corona, one of the first Pro Mujer rural associations in Matagalpa, Nicaragua. Most of the members work selling clothing and shoes. The group is located in a coffee-growing zone.

These are women who take care of their good credit history. One of their standout members is the group's president, 42-year-old Marlin Milagros (in the middle, wearing a blue shirt and blue jeans). She has two daughters, and the older is starting university. She looks back and is proud of her progress. She began taking out loans to sell prepaid phone cards. Today, she sells telephones and also dairy products. She is planning on a new loan to stock up her main business and also to invest in planting corn and beans.

Invest in a woman, transform her life!
