Penina's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Penina's story

Penina is a 43-year-old woman who lives in a traditional hut without access to electricity, with 4 other family members. She is a business woman but struggles with charcoal energy expenses. Penina spends a total of UGX 60,000 on all of her fuel expenses. She is buying the ACE One to help her and her family save the money they spend every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE One clean cookstove is biomass and solar powered.
