Emma's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more slippers and shoes to sell.

Emma's story

Emma is 39 years old, from Liberia. She is a single mother with 3 children, who live at home while schooling. Emma attended school up to 5th grade.

Emma owns a business selling slippers and shoes. She started to sell in order to create a permanent source of income to support her children. For the past 7 years, she has been operating her business without any problems. She acquired the skills for selling from her father, and started the business with some earnings from her mother. She uses a car to transport supplies at her business site.

Emma will use this loan to buy more slippers and shoes to sell to her clients. Emma likes her business because it gives her money that enables her to pay her children's school fees. In the future, Emma wants to continue her children's education. Thank you funders.
