Olivier's story

Olivier lives in a rural district which is a 10-minute drive away from Port Vila, a city in Vanuatu. She lives in a small community, and the main industry is food and service. Having two primary schools located in her area, it has been quite alright for her to make a steady income. Olivier is 31 years old and has five children. Her children are aged 11, 9, 6, 4, and a baby who is 11 months old. She lives with her family in her father-in-law's compound.

Olivier has asked for a loan to help her pay for a carton of chicken wings and a box of ice cream to stock up her deep freezer, so she can supply her customers.
