Nyakabungo Traders United, Rukungiri Group's story

Kaguna A., 36 years old, with a family of 6, has been operating a repair and spare parts store for bicycles and motorcycles in Burambira, Rukungiri for 5 years. With his determination and hard work, he has been able to earn 200,000 UGX on a monthly basis, which he uses to meet his family's daily requirements including buying food and paying tuition fees.

For a long time, A.'s motive has been to set up a spare parts shop as there is a ready market available. This would help him advance his mechanics job and earn more profit since he would have fewer expenses, such as purchasing machines from other people. Therefore, with this loan, A. hopes to buy spokes, sprockets, tires, chains, realms, frames and so on for business expansion.
