Illumine's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase raw materials to help them increase the production level, as well as sales.

Illumine's story

Illumine is a passionate and successful businesswoman living in Rwanda. She started her business called Polybags in 2012 in Rwanda .

The purpose of the business is to process the raw polypropylene (PP) mesh into completed bags, which are then shifted to clients. PP woven bags are produced in different sizes and are used in packaging different kinds of items.

They have a variety of usages and they are flexible, strong, durable, and affordable. Illumine's business has a huge number of clients in Rwanda, Burundi, and DRC.

With her previous loans from AEC, Illumine was able to increase the production of her business by purchasing raw materials to increase her stock, and purchased an additional PP bag extruder machine, lamination machine, and other accessories.

Illumine's business has been a success for her and is popular in the packaging industry. She has also been able to provide employment for the people in the nearby community, especially women, in order to help them maintain their standards of living and those of their families.

A loan to Illumine will help her purchase more raw materials, such as PP lamination and PP raffia, to help them increase the production level, as well as sales. This will also increase her profits and allow her to provide more jobs to people in the community.

Moreover, Illumine will be able to introduce new designs of Polybags and attract an increased number of clients.
