Katherin's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped to build a room for her children.
Meet Katherin! Katherin is an entrepreneur from the rural community of Zapallal, East Panama. She is known for her responsibility and enthusiasm in any project that benefits the community. As a proactive entrepreneur, she sells candies and snacks to her neighbours, operating her sales from her house. Additionally, Katherin is taking advantage of some tailoring experience and a sewing machine she has at home to design and sell homemade face masks to people in Zapallal and nearby towns, thus helping people protect themselves during the COVID-19 pandemic that has hit her province really hard. Today, Katherin is applying for a loan to buy construction materials and build a bedroom for her children. As her family is growing, she is planning to expand her house in rural Zapallal to provide better living conditions to her family. Thank you for contributing to the economic growth and well-being of women in rural areas that have been historically excluded from basic financial services in Panama.
