A loan helped to buy sheep to resell in order to support her family.

Benkadi Group's story

Mama is holding her sheep. She is Malian, 49 years old, widowed, and the mother of 6 children. She farms, raises sheep, and sells agricultural inputs for more than 10 years. She buys her merchandise and her animals at the local market, and resells the agricultural inputs in the village and the surrounding areas, and her animals are sold in the main market.

She can earn a profit of 10,000 to 25,000fCFA per animal after 10 months of business. To increase her turnover in order to have more profit, she requested a loan from RMCR. She has not met any difficulties in her business at the moment. Her dream is to ensure the healthcare costs, shoes, and clothing of her children. NB: Due to COVID, Mama appears alone to represent the group in the photo.
