Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a variety of clothing and shoes to sell.

Mujeres Emprendedoras Group's story

This committee is called “Mujeres Emprendedoras” [Enterprising Women] because that is precisely what describes them. They help each other, and they see this committee as a means of achieving their goals and continuing to help their families. In addition, they participate in the poverty elimination program.

One of the members is Bernarda, who is engaged in selling all kinds of clothing and shoes. It is a modest job, but she does it to provide her loved ones with better living conditions.

She is married, and she says that she has two children for whom she strives to be able to move them forward and provide them with a better quality of life so that they have a better future.

She is requesting this loan to purchase a wider variety of clothing and shoes, which will help her continue with her sales.

Note: Although this is a group loan, only one person appears in the photo because a group loan was not possible due to social-distancing measures imposed by the Covid-19 pandemic.
