Maritza's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!
A loan helped a small, woman-owned business buy equipment and provide local employment.
As someone once said, a cup of coffee is full of ideas. And if you’re not sure, just ask any philosopher, musician, artist, politician, or writer. Many of them have dedicated phrases to their greatest ally: coffee. I was born in a very humble but sweet home, that’s what we would call my grandmother’s house: the sweet little house. She would bake delicious cakes from all types of recipes, always accompanied by coffee. We grew up surrounded by love and generation after generation these recipes were perfected. Some artists work with iron, clay, or paints. I, Maritza, work with a simple medium: sugar. I transform it into unforgettably delicious desserts and coffees with the goal of helping people connect with the sweetest childhood memories. The smells, flavors, and colors awaken the senses and brighten the spirit with the wonderful things in life. Through free workshops, I hope to empower children and teach them about entrepreneurship.
