Stefany Monserrate's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy quintals of rice, lentils, oil, oats, dairy products, etc.

Stefany Monserrate's story

Stefany Monserrate, age 21, is single and does not have children at the moment. She lives with her parents. They live in Portoviejo, a city affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and now by the Covid-19 pandemic. The city is rich in production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruit for domestic consumption.

Stefany Monserrate and her family work selling provisions such as rice, oil, sugar, pasta, and tuna. Her clients order these things in advance; they combine the ordered items and deliver to homes. Once again she is selling women's clothing per orders. She sells these on the internet and Whatsapp, delivering to homes.

Social isolation at first left her without work due to fear of contagion and various restrictions that kept her from going out to sell. Now she is following bio-security protocols.

This loan is to buy quintals of rice, lentils, oil, oats, dairy products, etc. Her dream is to have a van to make home deliveries herself, and that her family will have good health.
