Rinconada Alta Group's story

The "Rinconada Alta" group is on its 16th cycle. They consider themselves a solid group with great desire to keep working. The group consists of 11 people. Due to the pandemic only the three members of the board of directors appear in the photograph.

Vilma is the president and leader of the group. Her two daughters are her main motivation. She is a single mother but she has managed to get her family ahead this entire time.

She started out in agriculture some time ago, harvesting cacao and fruit. She is requesting her loan to maintain her cacao parcel because she wants to obtain better product and offer her partners quality.

Vilma describes herself as an early riser who is a responsible and very hardworking partner. She also has a grocery business and works as a day worker on other agricultural plots.
