Ndarikana Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy three bags of beans, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Ndarikana Group's story

Christelle is a client of the Hekima MFI and chairs the "Ndarikana" village group. She is a 38-year-old widow and the mother of five children who are all in school.

She is a food seller, having started this business seven years ago with start-up funds received from her late husband. Later she involved the Hekima programme to support her business, during the course of which she has gradually evolved. With this new loan, she will buy three bags of beans, which will strengthen her initial capital. The challenge of her business is the lack of goods.

She would like her children to continue studying and she would like to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting non-bankable business owners in this global crisis related to COVID-19. The photo is only of the leader of the group because of COVID-19 in respect of social distancing measures.
