Mujeres En Vanguardia De Santa Cruz Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy basic grains, candy and hygiene products, and to invest in a food stall.

Mujeres En Vanguardia De Santa Cruz Group's story

Meet the "Women Entrepreneurs of Santa Cruz" group. This is a communal group with field partner Pro Mujer in Chinandega, Nicaragua. They are organized. They live in a community with few transportation options, but they have always been punctual with their payments.

Zobeyda Nohemy (in the middle, wearing orange pants and a dark green shirt) is 35 years old and is treasurer. She has worked with loans for 7 years. She hopes her two children become professionals.

A small infusion of capital was the catalyst to start a candy business. Today, she has a grocery store and her own home.

This new loan will help her improve her earnings. She is requesting a loan to buy basic grains, candy and hygiene products, and to invest in a food stall.

She enjoys the independence that comes with being a business owner.

She counts on your support to continue moving forward!
