Raselonyane's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase the ACE One hybrid energy system for cooking, lighting and charging in a way that is safer, cleaner and saves money.

Raselonyane's story

Raselonyane is a 51-year-old man who lives in a separated hut, without access to electricity, with six other family members including four children. Raselonyane relies on self-employment and struggles with buying multiple fuels and an insufficient income. He spends the most amount of his energy expenses on paraffin, which costs up to LSL135 per month. He also spends as much as one hour per day gathering fuel and fulfilling other energy needs like phone charging.

Raselonyane bought the ACE 1 cookstove to help him and his family save the money spent every month on fuel and also help them access solar electricity for charging their mobile devices any time for free. The ACE 1 clean cook-stove is biomass- and solar-powered. For more information on the ACE1 cook stove please visit www.africancleanenergy.com and Facebook @African Clean Energy
