Patience's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more clothes to expand her clothing business.

Patience's story

Patience is a 25-year-old entrepreneur who lives with her husband in the Nkhotakota district in Malawi. She is known for her involvement in philanthropic activities. She has been supporting a pupil with school materials for 3 years now on a continuous basis. It is her dream to support more children in her community with profits from her business.

Patience sells men's and women’s clothes. She is requesting a Kiva loan to buy more clothes to expand her clothing business. She plans to use the profits she earns to invest in poultry production and support more children in primary school in her community.

Patience will repay the ‘social interest’ on her loan by volunteering 3 hours per week as a member of the CAMFED alumnae association, CAMA, providing mentorship to younger members as they tackle a range of personal and entrepreneurial issues.
