Mujeres Unidas Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy beverages, candy, food, and other products to sell.

Mujeres Unidas Group's story

The Mujeres Unidas [United Women] group is in its second cycle in the women's committee program, where everyone works and helps each other get ahead. They set the goal of being able to grow together and help each other in any way they can.

One of them is Margarita. She is married and is the mother of a son who is her main livelihood and motivation to fight. She and her husband help each other and generate the household income. She has a small restaurant where she can offer all kinds of foods to her customers, from sweets to all types of beverages.

She started with very little and has been improving little by little thanks to her daily efforts. She decided to become part of the group and saw it as an opportunity to be able to achieve her goals and objectives.

She is asking for this loan to be able to buy beverages, sweets, food, and other products to sell.

Note: There is only one person appearing in the picture but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo due to the Covid-19 pandemic because of having to avoid the crowding of people.
