Kuña Guapa Group's story

The group named Kuña Guapa is in its tenth loan cycle with the women's committee program. They are all female heads of family who strive for a better quality of life for their loved ones so that they want for nothing. They are also in the Poverty Stoplight program.

One who is worth mentioning is Carmen who is married and the mother of one son. In order to earn a daily living she looks for ways to be able to grow and get ahead. She sells fruits and vegetables so she can continue to contribute to the household income and be able to give her son a better life and future. She is an industrious, enterprising and above all a selfless person who works to better herself and improve her quality of life.

She is requesting this loan to buy fresh fruits and vegetables so she can keep up her sales. She is grateful for the opportunity she has been given to invest in her business so she can continue to give the her family the best.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid a large gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
