Ibakwe Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more cabbages, carrots and tomatoes.

Ibakwe Cb Group's story

Anitha is a 41-year-old mother of four children who are aged between 4 and 19 years old. Her husband is a construction worker, and for the past 20 years, she has been selling vegetables.

She is the leader of the group called Ibakwe CB, which in English means “To be Quick”. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Anitha will use her loan to buy more cabbages, carrots and tomatoes to sell in her community, and to meet customer demand. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to expand her business and also provide school fees for the children.

Anitha is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to get a photograph of all the group members. The photograph is of Anitha, the group representative.
