Suchada's story

Suchada is a local woman living with her mother, siblings, and her child in a Kui community of Surin Province in Northeast Thailand. Generally, her family works in the local government unit and raises native chickens for selling to do for a living. She has been operating a native chicken farm to generate income for over three years. During these years, she has been learning to raise these native chickens by herself until she became skillful. Her business has been going well. At the moment, she sought an opportunity to expand her business by applying for the Kiva loan to buy native chickens, chicken feed, and to purchase materials to expand the chicken coop. The loan will offer Suchada be able to afford sufficient equipment for her career and also supports the local entrepreneur. In the future, she wants to be able to increase more income for her family and make them have a better life quality.
