Joana's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy additional foods, such as biscuits, noodles, sugar and coffee to sell, and a refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

Joana's story

Joana is 33 years old and married with three children. In 2017 she opened a kiosk where many people come to buy goods every day. Running her business has made Joana independent because she can be responsible for herself and also help support her family.

Joana has taken out and successfully repaid a previous loan. She would now like a loan of 600 USD through Kiva's field partner KIF to restock her kiosk with additional foods, such as biscuits, noodles, sugar and coffee. She would also like to buy a refrigerator to keep drinks cold.

Joana hopes to run a bigger business in the future and wants to thank lenders for this opportunity.
