Twimarubukene Cb Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy more rice, beans, maize flour, and cooking oil.

Twimarubukene Cb Group's story

Marie Jeanne is a 53-year-old mother of two children aged between 20 and 25 years old. Her husband is a farmer, and for the past eleven years, she has owned a grocery store.

Marie Jeanne is the leader of the group named Twimarubukene Cb, which in English means ‘lets fight poverty’. Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Marie Jeanne will use her loan to buy more rice, beans, maize flour, and cooking oil to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to provide for the family and also increase her savings. She is thankful for your support.

"Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the members, but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo".
