A loan helped to buy more maize and beans.

Itetero Cb Group's story

Jeanne is a 48-year-old widowed mother of four children between the ages of 9 and 21 years old. For the past seven years, Jeanne has been selling foodstuffs.

Jeanne is the leader of the group named Itetero CB, which in English means "caring people". Group members sell different items and own a variety of businesses.

Jeanne will use her loan to buy more maize and beans to sell within her community. With the profits from her sales, she hopes to be able to pay school fees for her children and put away some savings. She is thankful for your support.

Due to the global pandemic, Urwego was not able to photograph all the group members, but Urwego was able to get one representative for the group photo.
