Biluge Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on rice, flour, oil, and sugar for her food catering business.

Biluge Group's story

Ms. Cecile is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “BILUGE”; she is married, 49 years old, and the mother of ten children, all provided with schooling.

She does catering in a restaurant, she started this enterprise ten years ago with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she got involved with the Hekima program to support her enterprise. She has been working progressively in it since then.

With this new loan, she will stock up on supplies: rice, flour, oil, and sugar, and this will bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with missing customers and also the multitude of taxes.

She would like to develop her enterprise and for her children to continue their studies. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of COVID-19, so as to respect social distancing measures.
