A loan helped to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home.

Chhorvy's story

Chhorvy, aged 42, lives with her family in the area of Dang Tong district, Kandal province.

At home, Chhorvy and her spouse have been operating a small shop selling duck eggs and miscellaneous household goods to local people in the community. Duck eggs are an excellent source of nutrition. The dark yellow yolk indicates that it holds more antioxidants, more omega-3 fatty acids, and 50% more vitamin A than chicken eggs. To earn an additional income, her husband also works as chef for wedding ceremonies.

Due to a shortage of funds, Chhorvy is requesting a loan to buy construction supplies to renovate her old home. She hopes that, through the help of the loan, she can provide everyone in her family with a suitable place to live and comfortable living conditions. Chhorvy will have enough funds to purchase construction supplies, such as bricks, cement, zinc, and other necessary items, and to pay for labor costs. Chhorvy sends thanks to all lenders for helping her, and poor people like her, to improve her family's economic situation. She believes that, through her hard work and perseverance, she will be able to attain a better standard of living someday.
