Jose Medardo's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase soap powder, rinse aid, car shampoo, tire cleaner, and a power washer.

Jose Medardo's story

Jose Medardo is a 60-year-old, hard-working father of a family whose goal has always been to improve his children’s lives. That is why he decided to open his own business, a car wash. He started his business venture in Nicaragua, washing cars at residences. Because of the crisis in his country, he decided to emigrate to Costa Rica. With his savings, he once again opened his business. He has now been operating for 10 years.

Jose Medardo has opted for a Kiva loan, together with MiCredito, to purchase work materials, such as powdered soap, rinse aid, car shampoo, tire cleaner, and a pressure washer. These are to offer better quality service to his customers. He dreams of being able to open a new location in the center of San Jose and of providing jobs to anyone who wants to get ahead.
