Asifiwe Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on plastic chairs, mattresses, and televisions to sell.

Asifiwe Group's story

Ms. Adidja is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “ASIFIWE”; she is married, 42 years old, and the mother of six children, all in school. Her partner is a welder.

A vendor of goods in general, she started this enterprise fourteen years ago with startup funding from the Hekima program to support her enterprise. She has been working progressively in it since then.

With this new loan, she will stock on plastic chairs, mattresses, and televisions to bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with missing customers.

She would like to feed her family and for her children to continue their studies. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during the global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of COVID-19 with respect to social distancing measures.
