Neema Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on smoked fish.

Neema Group's story

Ms. Anny is a client of the microfinance institution Hekima and presides over the village group named “NEEMA”; she is married, 50 years old, and the mother of five children, all provided with schooling. Her partner is a farmer.

A fish vendor, she started this enterprise eighteen years ago with startup funding from her husband. Later on, she got involved in the Hekima program to support her enterprise. She has been working progressively in it since then.

With this new loan, she will stock up on smoked fish, and this will bolster her initial capital. The challenge in her business has to do with missing customers.

She would like to buy a parcel of land and for her children to continue their studies. So she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for supporting business owners lacking cash during this global crisis linked to COVID-19. The photo shows only the group leader because of COVID-19, so as to respect social distancing measures.
