Tuzamirike Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on juice, oil, flour and detergent, which will strengthen her initial capital.

Tuzamirike Group's story

Ms. Nelly, 34, is a client of the microfinance institute Hekima, and is the leader of the village group 'Tuzamirike'. She is married and a mother of 4 children — all of whom go to school. Her partner is a digger.

Nelly sells a variety of items. She has been in the business for 4 years with the startup funds received from her husband. Later, she was involved with the Hekima program to support her business, during which time it kept growing.

With this new loan, Nelly wants to stock up on juice, oil, flour and detergent which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge in this business is unpaid bills.

Nelly would like her children to continue their studies, and she wants to develop her business. Finally, she wishes to thank Hekima and its partners for their support towards non-bankable business owners in the context of the Covid-19 global crisis. The photo is only of the group leader due to Covid-19 social distancing measures.
