Nancy Rocio's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy natural medicines, items for the home, creams, shampoo, etc.

Nancy Rocio's story

Nancy Rocio and her family live in Portoviejo, a city that has been affected by the April 16, 2016 earthquake and is now being affected by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The city is rich in the production of vegetables, legumes, and tropical fruits for domestic consumption.

Nancy Rocio used to sell clothes, Avon, and Yanbal. She currently sells products from Nature's Garden (natural, health, and beauty products) and Azzorti (beauty, personal care, clothing, and home products) catalogues.

She offers these by doing home visits, and her customers pay her for the merchandise weekly.

Social isolation had her without work in the beginning because of the fear of getting ill, and various restrictions preventing her from going out and selling. But she's currently following the biosafety protocols and selling via WhatsApp.

This loan is for buying natural medicines, items for the home, creams, shampoos, etc.

She dreams of having a lot of merchandise to sell and of her family being very healthy.
