La Molienda Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase cement, sand, and bricks.

La Molienda Group's story

Carlos Abel is 27 years old and lives with his spouse and two young children, one who is 8 years old and one who is 11 years old, who depend on him financially.

Carlos has worked for seven years as an independent mason within and outside his community, with a schedule of seven in the morning to five in the evening, which allows him to generate income to support his family financially.

Carlos wants to improve his house, since it is insecure because of a lack of a wall. For this, he asks for a loan to purchase cement, sand, and bricks. With this, he will improve the quality of his house since this will allow him to build the wall and improve the house's security.

Carlos, Katherine and Mirna form the solidarity group La Molienda, made up of responsible and enterprising people who seek the same end of getting their families ahead and giving them a better future.
