Lecheritas Rural Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy dried corn.

Lecheritas Rural Group's story

Maribel, age 32, is single, has 3 children and works selling mote and cheese, a business she started over 15 years ago. A normal day for her is to wake up early in the morning, take care of her child, do the house chores, and then open her business to sell her products.

She met the members of the group since they are neighbors and schoolmates. Her first Kiva loan was used to buy tables. With this second loan, she wants to buy material such as dried corn for preparation and later sale.

Her goals and aspirations with this loan are to expand her business and obtain more incomes. Her goal in life is to see her family healthy and always be united.

In the picture there is only the board of directors since this was a remote disbursement due to the pandemic.
