Faraja Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to stock up on pagnes (traditional cloth) and plastic chairs which will reinforce her initial capital.

Faraja Group's story

Mme Pascaline is a Hekima client and represents the village group FARAJA. She is married, 36 years old and the mother of four children who all attend school. Her spouse is a baker.

Six years ago, Mme Pascaline started her business with start up funds provided by her husband. She sells a variety of items. She joined the Hekima programme to support her business which has evolved progressively. This new loan will allow her to stock up on pagnes (traditional cloth) and plastic chairs which will reinforce her initial capital. The challenge she faces in her business is associated to damaged chairs.

She would like her children to continue to attend school and to feed her family. Finally, she would like to thank Hekima and its partners for the support given to non-bankable business owners during the global Covid-19 crisis. The photo is of the group leader alone out of respect for the social distancing measures necessitated by Covid-19.
