Las Talentosas Group's story

The "TALENTOSAS" group is formed by skillful people in order to run their microbusinesses in the Yanacoto community. They are inspired to move forward in life. Rómulo, the president, has been raising bees for 20 years as a result of seeing his uncle work in this business when he was a child, and then deciding that he was going to do the same thing. When he was older, he purchased a crate for the house in which he was going to raise the bees. On a trip he maD. to the Matucana region, he saw a bee honeycomb and learned the idea to capture the bees for the purpose of bee honey production. It was not easy, but when he was working as a gardener in the house of a man, he saw a magazine on how to raise these animals and ever since, he learned the business that he had always liked as a child. The first loan he received was to purchase the equipment he needed, such as the wood to make the beehive. At the beginning he did not have many customers, but after time, he dared to sell to the markets and stores. That way, his income started increasing, which helped him make improvements to his house and educate his children, who are now professionals. He is requesting a loan to invest in the purchase of wax, wood to create the beehive, and improve the sale of his products. The "Talentosas" group is sure to remain in the program to move forward with their businesses and their families.
