A loan helped to purchase coconuts on farms and to pay for transportation.

Ana Del Rocio's story

Ana Del Rocio and her family live in Santana, which is a lovely valley. The strength of the zone is agriculture, there are crops of corn and rice, livestock and, in the cuisine, there is a variety of traditional dishes such as viches with a peanut base, tongas, etc. There are also fresh water thermal spas.

Ana Del Rocio and her spouse work selling and distributing coconuts. They purchase on the farms and bring them to sell in the markets and to merchants who always are asking for coconuts.

At first, the social distancing left them without work due to the fear of the virus and various restrictions. But, now she is working with the biosafety protocols.

This loan is to purchase coconuts on farms and to pay for transportation. Her dream is to have a truck to transport the merchandise and that her family is very healthy.
