A loan helped to buy more flour, oil, food colors, and some other ingredients in order to make more fried bread.

Tito's story

This is Tito, a modest, and enterprising 32-year-old married man who possesses a strong desire to get ahead. Tito lives with his small family in Liquisa municipality, where he has a business selling an East Timor-traditional fried bread with a variety of colors and tastes. It is a very well-known bread because of its unique taste, and lots of people love it.

Tito would like a loan of USD 400 to buy more flour, oil, food colors, and some other ingredients in order to make more fried bread to sell and generate income for his family. He wishes to run a bigger business as the result of this investment and wants to thank all the lenders.
