Viviana's story

Viviana is a small entrepreneur who is 46 years old and a resident of the city of Cartagena, where she lives with her family. She has been in business for 12 years. Viviana has a restaurant where she serves breakfast, special dishes, and pastries. She started her business because she needed to generate income to support her family. Viviana has taken advantage of all the knowledge she gained after having worked as a cook and preparing special meals on the weekends for many years. Eventually she set up a shop where she could sell breakfast every day and pastries to order twice a month. This business is her only source of income by which she is able to sustain her household.

Due to the worldwide COVID-19 pandemic, her work level decreased and her income diminished drastically because of biosafety issues. For this reason, Viviana is requesting her first Kiva loan from Fundación Santo Domingo in order to buy rice, chicken, pork, oil, and fish. Please support her business loan.
