George's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to purchase a biodigester and use biogas, a renewable energy for milk pasteurization.

George's story

George's parents bought the farm he is working on, a long time ago. They were farmers all their life and taught George and his brothers to look after and improve the field crop, because for agriculture, it is what makes the world alive.

George knows manure is polluting the planet because of inadequate waste management; that is why he wants to invest in a Sistema.bio biodigester that will allow him to transform the manure from seven cows into renewable clean energy (biogas) and an organic fertilizer called biol.

George will use biogas for corn production and during the pasteurization process. They also will apply the organic fertilizer in the forage for animals instead of chemical fertilizers taking care of the soil, the animals and the production.

This loan represents 82% of the price of the biodigester; the remaining part is paid directly by George.
