Iniciate 4 Group's loan finished fundraising,
but these similar borrowers just need a little more help to reach their goals!

A loan helped to buy fabrics for jackets, padding for quilts and threads in a large amount.

Iniciate 4 Group's story

The group called "Iniciate 4" is made up of 4 men and 6 women. They are a group from the "Iniciate" programme in the women's committee, the majority earn a living through making and selling food, as well as selling fabrics, farming and brick-laying.

One of the members is Ramona. She is married and she earns a living selling fabrics, threads, lace and overlays. This work allows her to generate the necessary income, as this maintains her household and is her family's main job. This loan will be used to buy fabrics for jackets, padding for quilts and a large quantity of threads. Ramona mentions that her dream some day is to be able to enlarge her business and so provide a better quality and variety for her customers.

Note: Only one person appears in the photo, but this is a group loan. It was not possible to take a group photo to avoid the mass gathering of people due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
