A loan helped to buy blackberry plants, composts, wire, wooden poles, and fertilizers.

Daniel Alfonso's story

Alfonso is a humble rural man who lives with his family in the community of Chilma Alto. They reside in a small bamboo house that he built after he acquired land through the local indigenous council. He was very happy after he built his house because his children would have a place where they can live without the fear of being evicted or not being able to pay rent.

Alfonso and his partner have always worked in agriculture. When they accumulated a bit of savings, they began cultivating blackberries since they generated a good income for their family. Alfonso wants to sow a new crop of blackberries since the current plants are old and no longer productive. For this reason, he is requesting a loan to buy blackberry plants, composts, wire, wooden poles, and fertilizers. He hopes to continue increasing his income and improving his way of life.
